Before They Are Hanged
by Joe Abercrombie
4.5/5 stars.
The conclusion really brought this one up for me. This one is definitely middle book of the trilogy, all the plot threads are distinctively separate. I personally derive great joy from seeing threads intertwine and collide and there was none of that here because it's middle book things are still hitting their stride (which is a-okay).
I do really love the First Law world and am I going to try and get Last Argument of Kings done in 2 days so it's in 2022? Yes, yes I am.
