This is a really, really beautiful story about someone overcoming years upon years of abuse, finding the love they deserve, and finally going for the life they want. And it's all just a little under 100 pages. The setting was beautiful, the characters were ALL women, and it is sapphic!
It just fell flat for me and it might be because it was so short, but the writing is also a little clunky at times. I just wanted more just something a little bit more than what I was given. I can't put my finger on it, but it just didn't quite strike me in all the places I wish it would've.
