Anything but Minor by Kate Stewart

2.0

I picked Anything but Minor solely on the basis of the reviews and what my trusted friends had told me I'm bummed it was nothing like what they had told me. Honestly, it was a meh read for me.

For me, it lacked depth and angst and had a hero that was way too aggressive and quick to jump to conclusions left, right and centre without understanding the situation.

The heroine, on the other hand, was oodles of fun! From her peeing to whenever she was nervous to her need to Google the most inane facts, she was such a joy! Also, I really appreciate the author for writing a female lead who was a pilot. This is one profession I have yet to read, among others, about women having in books. Kudos for that!

Yes, it didn't work for me and there is nothing against the author or the book. I found it lacking in a lot of areas where Kate Stewart could have worked on more than others, especially Rafe.
