By the third book I was exasperated with Ceony's character.
Girl is good at everything because of her photographic memory. Girl discovered something no other master ever found - makes her even better! Girl is so good, she is able to catch super villains that her masters cannot catch. Even though she disobeyed, lied, and acted with hubris, Ceony saves the day and no one holds it against her.
This same formula is applied to all three books, it was like reading a re-hash of book one, but they just kept getting more and more watered down. This was an absolute chore to finish.
