Like the first book, it's an enjoyable sci-fi read, but this time the humans sucked a bit more in their interactions with each other, which really took me out of it. These are hand-picked space explorers, not sullen teenagers with a bad attitude.

If I was being honest, I'd give it 2 stars. But what you should know about me is that I'm a sucker for cute guys, and Speaker is exactly my kind of guy
