After the previous volume Alita disappears for a while. Ido has spent a month searching for and finally finds her playing Motorball. This is the beginning of her motorball career and her raising through the ranks.
Motorball is a fascinating and deadly sport. I am excited to see where this story arc goes but I am also sad because Ido and her are not a team. I don’t love that they had a falling out and that they won’t talk to each other.
This volume ends with her challenging the current motorball champion Jasgun. I am interested in seeing how the battle goes and how her new teammates work with her.
