House of Earth and Blood is a story with a really rich and truly interesting world, the characters are great and really well written.

Bryce Quinlan is such a kick you in the balls type character and I genuinely love that, she acts like she doesn't care and nothing affects her but she does care. She cares almost too much for her friends and family.

The world is incredibly interesting and incredibly well fleshed out, it feels real and lived in. And I always adore the mix of fantasy and the modern world.

All in all very good and enjoyable book. Looking forward to continuing the series.
