This book is perfect for ages 16+. There are some sexual themes and violence but there's no sexual violence or anything like that. It's challenging and the characters are diverse, giving the book a sense of mixed personalities. The plot is full of different things and overall this is one of my favorite fantasy novels. If anyone wants to know, the second book to this series is A Court of Mist and Fury.

For the content warnings that I had put, even the graphic ones, they are not as bad as most books that people read. The gore and torture is described within the book, yes. It does have violence and talks about fights and wars and there is medium sexual content, it isn't graphic and doesn't speak of any body parts, but you know what they are talking about. I would label it as soft porn. The religious bigotry is just talking about the

people who worship faeries and how everyone thinks its wrong because they hate them in the beginning
