Gypsy Moon by Kristy Cunning
Did not finish book.
DNF @ 85 %
I can't believe I had to DNF another book (and series) so close to the end again, but at this point I don't even know what is happening anymore!? This book is confusing the heck out of me, and my patience was running thin for quite some time now.
I'm just tired of all the talking and never actually saying anything, of all the back-and-forth and puzzles and allusions. The world-building is all over the place and I don't even know how to visualize half of the cast. How is that even possible in f**kin' book four?
Sadly, I think I'm done with Kristy's / C.M.'s books. While she can be extraordinarily funny, she just keeps throwing her ideas at the reader without any filter, and while I'm quite ok to go with the flow for a while, I don't like to be kept in the dark endlessly—or wait for the author to figure out where to go with her story over several hundert pages of rambling mindfuckery.

(Oh how I love Caro's review.)
