Waterfall by Lauren Kate

2.0

I really wanted to love this. Then, I really wanted to like this. See, even though I am not the target audience, I really loved the Fallen books and I am a sucker for a good YA dystopian fantasy (or some related combination). The problem was that this dragged and I never really grew to like Eureka or her male interests. It didn't get really interesting until the last thirty pages. and even then mostly what I wanted to know was how Lauren Kate planned to bring this bizarre situation to a conclusion. It felt almost like she was working too hard to create the alternate world and I never felt the emotion she should have been flooded with given the destruction described. Where was her panic? Anyway. If you read Teardrop and feel compelled, read on. If not, skip it.
