This book gets kind of slow at times and can be extremely bleak, but it provides lots of insight into the horros of the state of emergency in India. I also appreciated it’s theme of how life goes on regardless of tragedy and the spirit of humans.
While it takes forever to read, it’s definitely worth it, especially if you’re interested i. learning about this side of Indian history.
