xaymaca 's review for:
For Honor We Stand
by H. Paul Honsinger
Let's start with the cons first:
This is all-male adventure, no girls allowed. The reason is explained in book one so I'm not going to spoil it. It's weird, it's a thing but if you can't get past that...
The pros:
If you've made it this far, congrats, you are about to get even more space battles against bigger and badder enemy warships. There are some nice surprises this time around though , including some action we haven't seen previous. I pretty much ripped through this book on my to and fro work commute on audible. I wish I could get my paper books done as quickly but until I can read and drive at the same time, audio will have the advantage. But back to the book, it's very trekie in certain ways, formulaic in others but always deeply satisfying in the end.
