I loved the premise of a morally gray cowboy! The grumpy x sunshine trope was in full force here but sometimes the MMC came off too much like an asshole, I think. He seems to just hate all women because of being scorned by one past fling (who then turned into the mother of his son).

The spice and possessiveness had me overlooking the misogyny from the MMC but a day or so after reading, the hatred and actions against the MMC’s baby mama and how he acted because of her past mistakes, just really didn’t sit well with me. Also, it felt like we had the same breakup three separate times all for the same reason…

Forever love the FMC though!!!!

I’d still maybe recommend this one for grumpy, morally gray cowboys - but would caveat with the asshole parts
