OMG. THIS BOOK. WOW.

Firstly, the genre.
I mean, sci-fi with romance?!? How can that possible be written?? But damnnn.
I've said it a hundred times before, and I'll say it a hundred times more, Casey McQuiston is a miracle worker.
This book is pure magic.
From the story, to the humor, to the gay culture, to the personification of New York, everything was beautiful. Just amazing.

Secondly, the characters!
They are all so awesome.
August is my baby and I love her so freaking much. I wish I could meet her and just hug her for a few days.
Jane is hot. I find her ridiculously hot. I think it's because of the tattoos and the leather jacket but her personality and humour are pretty freaking hot too.
Niko. His character is so well written. And I love everything that comes out of his month and he has started to get me to believe in psychics now.
Myla is such a mood. She is the perfect person I've ever known and I cannot imagine this book being this good without her.
Wes. Truth be told, I thought he'd just be grumpy all the time and didn't like him, but OMG!! He is such a sweetheart and I'd literally lie down on the metro rails for him.
Isaiah/Annie. I wanna be a drag queen now. I've never actually been to drag shows before, but I'd love to go to one someday and see all the fabulous queens, like Annie, on the stage.

Third, the setting and location.
Okay, so, I've wanted to go to New York for a really long time. It's the perfect city according to me. It might be crowded and might smell like piss all the time, but I wanna live there someday. And I got to see how my life would look like through this book. And it's wonderful.
I love pancakes and Billy's sounds incredible. If I was a part of this world, I'd probably sell everything I own to save that place.
Lastly, the metro. The Q.
I'd love to ride it someday and maybe find a new friend while I am there.

AND THE FOUND FAMILY TROPE!!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THOSE AND THIS WAS SO WHOLESOME AND BEAUTIFUL!

If you've got till here, please just read the book. It's magical and wonderful and will probably break your heart but it will also sew it right back on.
