I just reread this as an adult, after having read the series as a teenager.
It's very funny, although the references to pop culture are a little aged.
My favourite book was the third one. It perfectly captures that teenage feeling of a MAJOR crush.
My main criticism, especially from books 4-8- they feel like filler, and some if the writing was just repeating stuff to cover up the fact there was little plot. My other criticisms is there's quite a lot of ableist slurs. I hope it's just a product of the time and Cabot has learnt from it.
Greatly nostalgic, I enjoyed it overall!
