I DNF’d one book last year, and I hope this is the only book I DNF this year.
I’ve tried and tried to listen to it but I just can’t engage with the characters. I just don’t care about them.
I’ve fallen asleep, zoned out, and even forgotten I was listening to this book and had to rewind so many times it is unreal. I have no idea what is going on really despite having listened to the first part about 20 times at least except her apparently picking up and eating a piece of melon was it thinking it was cheese?? Because you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between those two. Especially if you have an allergy to one of them.
