Fantastically funny, warm-hearted and with great characters. The fast-paced plot means it's target audience (ages 8+) will never get bored, and the illustrations help immensely.
The Beast and the Bethany is also a lovely morality tale that manages to convey its message (nice is much better than nasty) in a way that's not preachy or worthy.
I'm genuinely looking forward to the sequel coming in 2021.
