The historic aspect of the book was quite interesting. The modern part of the book was boring and predicable. The language is highly unimaginative. Nothing creative about the style. What is it with the Brits and their booze? Low morals. The main character jumps into bed with any man that looks at here. Where's the integrity? Lack of enthusiasm. Not recommended.
