Challenger Deep by Neal Shusterman

5.0

This book is so beautifully written I hardly have the words for how good it was. The characters are rich and so real that your heart just breaks for Caden as he goes through the worst of it. I was in tears at the worst of it. The imagery and language is perfect and precise. Features of style are used almost as a model of Caden's mental processes shifting in tense and chronological time.
For me this is one of those books that everyone needs to read.
