The story was fine, but the pacing left something to be desired.  I am usually a fan of novels that play with timelines or use alternate forms like text messages or emails, but I felt like these were not utilized in a way that best served the story.  It seemed like it took ages to reach plot reveals.  I did think the friendship between the main characters felt like the strongest part of the narrative.  Overall an okay read.
