This book was amazing. It tackled some really hard topics in a really important way. I thoroughly enjoyed the perspective and analysis on how religion and science contradict but can also coexist. Before reading this, I was very quick to stick to and defend science, but Gyasi was really able to depict the nuances and complexities of religion that affect how people live their lives. I found myself getting very emotional while reading this book, not only because of the difficult content, but also because of the beautiful writing style. Highly recommend reading this, especially if you aren't religious.
