This book blew me away! It was just the story I needed when I picked it up. I'd see teasers from RL and MJ in the leadup so I knew it was bound to be great. I was right. This book has everything: steam, action, relationship building, and a kick-ass world build.
This is a fast burn standalone, but it didn't feel rushed or too insta-love. The world and landscape these two authors created with the Above and the Below is outstanding. I wanted to know more about how it got to be that bad and how it was going to change. Seriously in between the steamy scenes, there's so much development and building. It's fantastic.
Plus oh baby! The steamy scenes are amazing! I love love love the concept of the different flavours (why can't real life be basically a s'more)
