An Unquenchable Thirst: Following Mother Teresa in Search of Love, Service, and an Authentic Life by Mary Johnson

4.0

I thoroughly enjoyed this memoir. Although quite long as it had to span Johnson's twenty year career with the sisters, I was engaged all the way through and at the end was left wanting more. Her writing is beautifully simple, mirroring the ascetic life that she led. This was a fascinating exploration of spiritual evolution. I would have enjoyed it even if Johnson had never worked so closely with Mother Theresa, however that connection made it so much richer. I recommend this book to anyone who has at one point questioned their beliefs, no matter what religion they follow.
