What even is this book? It felt like hot pile of garbage with more garbage on top! This was terrible! The plot, for the most part is non-existent; and the plot twist is pretty predictable. The characters are so bland and 2 dimensional that I did not feel connected at all to them. The spice, which i was looking forward to, was so repetitive and boring that I literally skipped over chapters of it. I genuinely don’t know who this book is written for, but it sure ain’t me.
Overall, I hated this and would have given it zero stars, but the .5 stars is for the audiobook production.
now for the spoiler part. The cover doesn’t match one bit with anything in the book. The FMC is so annoying, and whiny the entire time, sometimes I just wanted to slap her. she refuses to do anything about her situation, and just resolves to fucking the hot guy or fantasizing about fucking the hot guy.
The smut was boring AT BEST and disturbing at worst. I’m sorry making her call him MASTER??!! I should’ve dnf’d at that point. The little bunny nickname was more annoying than cute and every time the MMC said “bad bunny” I wanted to gag. The FMC kept alternating between calling him “big bad” lion and wolf. Like, let’s just pick one cringe nickname and stick with it pls.
But, I wanted to keep going for the plot twist. Which ended up being so predictable and sloppily executed. She’s the ghost?? Okay maybe I can get with that. However, what ruined it is the fact the MMC is ALSO a ghost. And they live happily ever after in ghost heaven? GTFO
