Follow Me Back
by A.V. Geiger
Follow Me Back is a YA thriller/romance about a girl who is attacked and develops PTSD and can't leave her room because of the trauma. She ends up living on Twitter and obsessed with a teen musician. The musician, also suffering from a mild form of PTSD after a fan killed another musician friend, decides to follow the girl on Twitter in order to troll her. *Insert eye-roll here* Of course, they end up falling for each other because they connect on a "much deeper level" than they ever thought possible. *gag*
Anyway, I'm embarrassed to admit how much I actually enjoyed this book, and although the premise is rather ridiculous, the book wasn't half bad. More exciting than I expected at first glance. And definitely a quick enough read to finish in a day!
Would I recommend? Probably not - unless you are into far-fetched teen thriller/romances and have a high level of suspension of disbelief. Will I recommend it to teens, though? Heck yes! I know just the juvenile delinquents who would enjoy reading this... buahahaha!! 😜
