A very enjoyable read about the fight for a kingdom that runs on peace instead of ruin. Following Prince Ashoka, the youngest of three and the least corrupt of the trio, we watch as his world views are challenged. Shakti the witch tries to save herself and her people from the tyranny of their Empire, while Ashoka fights to change things. Very interested to read the next book in line to see if things improve for the duo!
