The beginning of the end!
Oh man Laconia is here and they are scary! What a cool intro to what I'm assuming is going to be the final villain/arc of the series.
If you'd told me in book 3 that I'd be damn near tears when Clarissa dies I'd have laughed. It's cool too to see her sickness from her implants acting as a physical and real reminder of her past choices and their consequences. Not just an abstract way the crew talks about or thinks about her, but as a regular thing she can't quite escape.
Very excited for the next 2!
