Red Flags & Tuesdays by Nordika Night

I went into this thinking light, happy rom com. What I got was an amazing, emotional mental health rep book.

Story starts out as a one night stand and ends with a beautiful HEA. Reid is your rich not with daddy issues and Atticus is the loner kid who doesn’t people. Somehow they end up making the one of the best couples I’ve read this year.

Atticus tries so hard to get rid of Reid, but he just won’t have it. Reid does everything he can to make Atticus see that he wants this, he’s invested, even when he struggles with his depression. The writing of the mental health was stellar. As someone who deals with it herself, I felt seen and connected with Atticus’ character. I understood his struggle. And it was beautiful to see Reid in reaction to it. You understand why Atticus is afraid to show ‘his ugly’.

The spice was so so freaking good. It doesn’t take over the story, in fact it’s a nice addition that helps you learn about Reid and Atticus. They show a lot through s*x. The second scene, yes please and thank you.

There is an epilogue and I felt it did an amazing job wrapping the story up and putting a bow on it. This is a standalone in a series, but can be read in any order. I will certainly be reading more.
