Reading this series to Natalie now. She helps some, but as she hasn't started 1st grade yet she's not quite there. This is the first series I have really been reading to just Natalie, and it is fun.

The first chapter book that Melanie read on her own. Had some hard words I had to help with (especially names like Eugenia), but she read it out loud to us over a couple weeks (Winter break 2016). It helped that she was trying to read enough minutes over break to get a prize from the librarian.
