Muse of Nightmares by Laini Taylor

5.0

It was beautiful, magnificent, unexpected, gorgeous, ineffable and I absolutely loved it.

The thing about Laini Taylor's books that they start with a glorious world you would kill to live in it, even though it has some danger in it and once you thought you've seen it all, she presents what's beyond the curtains and you realize that you didn't even see the half of it. That's how gorgeous this world was, or should I say worlds, since there were hundreds of them?

All the questions I thought while reading were answered and they made perfect sense. I've never guessed what would happen next. Because it wasn't like any other books that I've read, I could easily guess the storyline which is the introduction, the realizing magic or whatever called magic is real, the beauty of the world that is soo short-lived and villain, and the final battle with villain and happily ever after. It wasn't even like that, there wasn't even a final battle that I grow bored of reading in fantastic series because really, is this all you can come up for the end, the final battle? Therefore, I was so glad.

Anddd... The fact that about thirty percent of the story occurs in dreams??? It was like Laini Taylor collected all the things I love and put them in her book. I loved it. I still cry about how beautiful it is.

Oh, and all the present villains(?) of the story were not actually villains but people who had given up everything for their goals, were so understandable. Every character has their bad sides, no one is perfect, they were like real people and I'm sobbing.

The end was perfect too, I am just sad that poor Sarai couldn't taste the delicious meals Suheyla made.
Please, give her a cake :(((
