Evil under the Sun by Agatha Christie
4.0

I don’t like black and white characters, therefore was hoping that the person who was murdered had some layers and depth to them. With nearly everyone hating them, it had the opposite effect on me, as I felt that they could be misunderstood. Not that anything could excuse their actions but I still sensed how alienated they must have felt from other people of their sex and was just sympathetic towards them.

Now on to the mystery. I knew that it couldn’t be the obvious suspects but still found myself shocked by the the who and the how and just didn’t see that coming at all. The way Agatha’s mind works is incredible really in a very unexpected and hair-rising way. I can’t wait to read more from her.
