Glengarry Glen Ross by David Mamet
3.0
the thing about this play is that the story is eh but the dialogue is amazing. and the thing about the dialogue is that the dialogue in the screenplay (also written by Mamet) is even better, so in a rare turn of events this suffers in comparison to the movie. I mean, without Blake there's no "coffee is for closers" aka one of my most oft-used quotes.
as for the story, apparently on the movie set they referred to the film as "death of a fucking salesman" which is very accurate. still, dialogue. & it's a quick read, so. read it, but see the movie too & if you're short on time, just skip to the latter.
