Another amazing installment by Amanda Aggie! Oh my god I loved this one. This one was so much fun to read. There was sadness, humor, pain, and also happiness. It was such a fun ride!
I loved Calamity and how she viewed the world for the first time. She lost the people she knew most of her life but gained a whole new family along her journey. Her relationship with everyone was amazing. I especially loved to see how her friendship with Brenn grew throughout the story. She and her beast’s relationship was great too. Hyde was protecting Calamity her whole life without her even knowing. It was really awesome to see Asmo as a caring father in this book. It was nice to see a deeper side to him.
Loric and Calamity’s relationship was perfection! There was so much love between them and their banter was hilarious. That scene where he kept feeding her berries every time she spoke was adorable. She definitely melted that dragon’s heart!
I loved learning more about the dragons in this book. That tingly glimpse we got in the last book had me itching for more! This world just keeps getting better and better. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us in the next one!
