Passion to Die For by Marilyn Pappano
3.0
This one was short and sweet. I learned not to judge a book by it's cover. After taking a good look at that overdramatic picture, I thought for sure that I wouldn't get past the first chapter. But I was wrong. It held my curiosity throughout and it was certainly a mystery I didn't easily solve. I would have changed who the killer was and I probably wouldn't have dedicated an entire chapter to lovemaking. However, I did keep in mind that it was a Harlequin romance and that was to be expected. I'd like to read something of greater substance by the same author. I like her style of writing and I'm hoping she can step out of the romance realm and deliver something of pure suspense to readers!
