Madeleine L’Engle did it again. The messages of love and faith and science are just as present in this book as they have been in this series. I’ve always loved the beautiful language, descriptions, and tidbits of wisdom. But, it wasn’t perfect. There were moments that felt really repetitive, especially with
Dr. Louise repeatedly shutting down her brother’s opinions/beliefs, and Polly not realizing that she was going to be sacrificed. And I know he didn’t probably know any better, but FUCK ZACHARY!
