I read a few reviews of this this book and I don’t quite agree with the hate this book gets.
Yes there is an age gap romance but nothing happens between the characters until the youngest is in his 20’s. The power balance works out withJoe being a Wolf and Ox being human I think it’s a bit unnecessary to say this is a grooming situation.
Also the female characters are pretty fleshed out. It’s a MLM romance so the female characters aren’t the focus but I think Elizabeth is a strong and complex character and Ox’s mom is fundamental to the MC’s growth as a character.
I would read the rest of the series. TJ Klune has grown as a writer even if his writing is a little white. Would love for some more black and POC characters.
