Ceremony by Leslie Marmon Silko

4.0

I didn't think this story would be what it ended up being! Towards three quarters of the books I almost stopped reading it because it was pretty violent or nonsensical but I see Leslie Marmon's point with the conclusion to the book and I really enjoyed the story. I guess, logically, I wanted this book to be about Tayo going to a man for healing and all that he learned from the healer (it is called ceremony right) but it delves a little more into the world needing healing as a whole. Right now, I think the world really needs healing.
