Overall, I massively enjoyed this series. It was brutal and intense and interesting and for the most part lived up to the hype.
That being said, the finale was my least favorite book in the series. The book as a whole felt repetitive and while there were massive stakes, I was disappointed with the end.
I felt like I dragged through Elias’s chapters and really disliked his character arc through this book.
Helene is my favorite character throughout the series, but I felt like she was done dirty at the end of this book.
I wish this was wrapped better, but I will be thinking about this series forever the foreseeable future.
