Did not finish book. Stopped at 30%.
I just can’t.
The first chapter was almost enough to dnf this book right there and then but i thought „nope. It’s not fair to judge this book within those first 14 pages“. So I kept going.
And now 124 pages in, it’s still a nope.

I get what emotions the author is trying to make me feel but reading about the „I‘m more than just the good looking actor“-guy and the „I‘m more than my weight“-girl is more annoying than I expected it to be.
Yes, their families aren’t really understanding or supportive, I get that, I would feel just like they do, but this could have been done way better.
I couldn’t really care for the characters.
Also, the male lead taking the „not conventional girl“ on a date was just more to proof a point to himself and ugh. No. Did not like any of this.

Why did I have to read 14 pages about the filming of a fictional last scene of a show in a fictional book and then read a page from a script or whatever after every chapter. Too much confusion.
