This book was INTENSE. I was so gripped, from the description in the front cover until the last page, and I was left feeling vaguely unsettled and almost sick. I was just as invested as Oli in finding out the truth. The book was tense all the way through, and all the characters were very fleshed out and yet mysterious. Oli experienced such a breadth and depth of emotions that she felt real. I think this story is going to haunt me for a while.
