Absolutely devastating and I loved Rin. 

random spoiler notes:
I hate Altan with all my heart. I don’t give one shit if he supposed to be the love interest. There is no redeeming qualities of him except for  Rin thinking he is cute.

  • I cried reading this book. 
  • There is parallels to real life war in this book
still despised Altan throughout the whole book however his death did redeemed him a little
