4.5

Crime novel with many voices, moving from the execution of the killers as told by the officers on duty during the execution, to the defense attorney’s memoranda, to an omniscient third-person narrator’s account of one of the victims, to the jailhouse diary of one of the perpetrators.  Dark and painful, but very gripping tale.
