This is a really interesting story. If something is conscious, can't it be more than it was made for? It touches on a lot of common themes around AI really well, especially with how it relates back to Clem's own experiences. 

I think my only complaint is that it develops really fast. It honestly feels like if it was twice as long it would be twice as effective in discussing its ideas, but even so this was a really nice read on multiple levels.
