I still don't really understand the ending of this book and found no explanations online, I think everyone is a bit confused. That aside, this was a gorgeously written horror book which combined the real-life horror of grief with supernatural horrors, and did so quite successfully. I loved the explorations of grief, loneliness, as well as the exploitation of certain deaths by media and political figures for their own gain. Thiago was a very interesting character to follow and boy does he go through IT. I thought the book was quite creepy and spooky but I would've liked more of an explanation at the end, plus I didn't love that we didn't have any chapters, only 4 main parts. Overall though, a very solid horror read and I'll definitely be picking up more from this author as well as this genre as I'm very new to horror.
