Death Rites by Alicia Giménez Bartlett

4.0

Wow! I was lucky to have 3 good books in a row. Death Rites is part mystery but mostly the musings of a female dectective paired up with an older male detective. The case that they are assigned to takes back seat to their relationship and thoughts or how dectective work together. The author is Spanish so I was really impressed how well the metaphors were able to be translated. I giggled at some of the main characters observations.
