Jingo by Terry Pratchett

5.0

As usual, a very amusing and entertaining novel by Sir Pratchett. This volume is about the cultural conflict between Ankh-Morpork (pigs, sausage-eaters,...) and Klatch (towel-heads,...) who go to war over an island that popped up between them.
Vetinari is a genius, as usual, and this time he takes Leonardo da Quirm and one of his inventions with him. Commander Vimes somehow manages to fit in with this terribly political surrounding but still resents helmets with feathers, white tights, purple cloaks and similar "formal" attire.
