Secluded Cabin Sleeps Six
by Lisa Unger
Lisa Unger’s Secluded Cabin Sleeps Six is an original “locked room” mystery with a unique twist! Truthfully, I wasn’t a fan of where the novel was going halfway through the book as the whole DNA angle isn’t something I normally care for. However, when it was revealed HOW it fits into the story, I suddenly became even more immersed in the book. What starts off at a slower pace soon turns into a sinister and faster paced novel with unexpected surprises. I loved the reveal, I enjoyed the characters even though a few were very unlikable and enjoyed how everything was wrapped up. This is the perfect suspense novel for those who like a “claustrophobic” feel to their books (the characters are essentially stranded during a hurricane).
I also want to take a second to mention the amazing cover! It’s not only PERFECT for the story but it’s downright gorgeous! Had I not been a fan of the authors work in the past I would have picked this one up solely based on the cover!
