Oh my god. The first book was really good. This one was so good I considered moving to Italy and studying literature. Ferrante's writing is so beautiful I audibly gasped many times while reading when I was struck by a line. My favorite part might have been when Elena frequently spewed long lists of references to post WWII Italian politics. I know very little about any of that, but Ferrante's knowledge really impressed me. I will recommend this series to anyone now. So excited to read the rest.
