Birthday Girl by Penelope Douglas

4.0

Oof, this was spicy, and not a cliche. I really thought I'd be able to predict the story because at times it felt as though it was following the stereotypical storyline but I was happily wrong. The thing I love most about this book was the fact that there was a playlist and throughout the book, Penelope would indicate to start playing the song by putting the song name in italics. It was really nice to have music accompany certain scenes. My favourite was the "Guys My Age" chapter, for obvious reasons. Also, their love is so cute! Tension, passion, love, ahh. A quick, nice, read. So recommend.

Happy reading!!
