I am absolutely FERAL for this series. Waiting for A Promise of Peridot to release felt like sooooo much longer than a year, but oh goodness it was worth the wait. I feel like it was lower action than A Dawn of Onyx, yet did not lack excitement. You really delve into Arwen and Kane’s personalities and feelings in this book, and I was all for it. Love me some Kane. The side characters stories and banter were the cherries on top. I was was glued to this book from start to finish. Thank goodness the next book comes out later this year because that ending….😳🫣
